About Hot Stamping
Q. Is it possible to produce hot stamping die only with drawing and artwork data?open
A. Yes. We input your drawing data to CAD data for NC process. Block copy paper, digital data, such as AI, EPS, and DXF, are also available.
Q. We can’t have good stamped result by present stamping die. Is there any idea to resolve this problem?

A.
Generally, some defected die are produced if you only use drawing data of plastic mold. It is because this data don’t count the possibility of plastic mold sinks. We deal with this problem by using 3D digitalizing system with your actual substrates. Our well experienced technical experts produce high precision stamping dies for your substrates.
If you have problems stamping on complicated substrates, please ask us for your help.
Q. What is the difference of E rubber and Metal engraved die?

A.
E rubber is moderate priced die compare with Metal engraved type die because of their production process which used etching method besides engraving metal mold. It is for flat surface only.
Metal engraved type die is high precision rubber die which made by engraved metal mold and available for flat and curved die.
Q. What is the range of rubber hardness?

A. Usually hard rubber die is used for fine lines and soft rubber die is used for solid printing. Our basic rubber hardness is Shore A 60, 70, 80, 90, and 95 degree but we can adjust it to other hardness for your needs.
About Pad Printing
Q. Is thick steel plate reusable?

A. Yes. We process polishing and lapping for plate surface and reuse. It will be benefit for 3R and cost cutting.
Q. Is it possible to get different depths in each artwork on a same plate?

A. It is possible if these artwork have space in the middle. We also adjust depths in the same artwork if it depends on the artworks.
Q. Is it possible to use variety of inks which is not for pad printing?

A.
The needs for printing special paste and functional ink such as conductive paste and UV ink are increased.
Dry (oil less) silicone pad and special material pad are also available.
Q. We don’t get good printing result used by new silicone pad. Is there any way to solve this problem?

A.
New silicone pad is shiny surface and it should be matte if you have printing problem. However, if you remove glaze completely, sometimes silicone pad get damaged.
We supply new matte silicone pad for your use.
Q. We want to line some silicone pads for our printing but the base is too big to glue. Is there any way to solve this problem?

A. You can order base size such as “slightly larger base than silicone edge” or “base flush with silicone edge”. If you have any problem on silicone base size, please order your size.
Q. The height of silicone pad is not enough for our printing. Is there any way to solve this problem?

A. We can modify silicone pad height shorter but not longer. If you need more height, you can adjust with silicone pad base and it will be ordered base.
Q. We can’t scrape ink completely on the large printing plate by our doctor blade.

A. We recommend you 0.9mm thickness doctor blade for solve this problem. This blade has less flexibility and good scraping result with lower blade pressure. This blade also suit for solid printing, for high viscosity inks, and for avoiding cobwebbing and pinholes.
About Jig
Q. What kind of printing jig do you produce?

A.
We provide high precision and good workability jig for special printing and secondary processing by our considerable experience and accumulated technique over half a century. For printing usage, we produce jig for hot stamping (up-down, roller), pad printing, screen printing.
For other secondary processing, we produce the jig for high-frequency induction heating, ultrasonic welding, examination, substrate reformation, and for other assemblies.
Q. We want to reduce the setting time. Is there any way for it?

A. We produce printing plate and jig in our factory. It will be the benefit to save some steps of each orders and avoiding tolerance position differences. Also we can customize your work environment to meet your printing need for better productivity.
Q. What is the methods of producing jig?

A.
Molding method by using paste-like resin, and method of cutting by drawing and 3D data are available.
For the molding method, we use urethane, silicone rubber, and other resins for avoiding scratch on your substrate.
For the method of cutting, we use brass, aluminum, steel, other metals and resin materials.
Some methods are restricted by your printing process and condition of substrates.
About AG Pad
Q. What is AG pad?

A. It is the latest hot stamping system for decorating 3D surface which is never before possible. It is heating rubber pad which gives pressure and heat when stamping.
Q. What is the difference of AG pad and existing hot stamping?

A.
Existing hot stamping die should be designed for each substrate. However, AG pad can hot stamp variety of substrate shapes because of its characteristics of rubber.
Moreover, existing hot stamping deliver heat from heat plate, but AG pad surface develops a fever by itself. It is benefit for electric power saving and high thermal efficiency.
Q. Is it possible to use with present hot stamping machine?

A. Yes, if it is up-down hot stamping machine. It will be used with AG control unit.
About Dry Offset Printing
Q. Is it possible to photo-like print by dry offset printing?

A. To make the printing result closer to the photo print, we need high reproductively and stable product quality. Production of printing plate has different from existing method and A-SPEC coating maintain printable quality. We also can give you advise on your printing environment by our own know-how.
Q. Current supplier have low dimensional accuracy on printing plate. What is your dimensional precision?

A. Tokushu Abe Seihanjo has dedicated workstations for special printing and using high definition dry films. The precision of platemaking is ±1/100mm and produce high-precision printing plate for your needs.
Q. Is it any way to rise operation rate of dry offset printing machine?

A.
Existing dry offset printing needs to stop the operation on a regular basis for cleaning printing plate to remove excess ink and dust.
A-SPEC coating gives longer operation time because of less remaining ink and dust. It improve high operation availability.
Q. What is the difference of A-SPEC coating and existing coating?

A.
The film thickness of common coating is about 10μm (0.01mm) and this thickness/width is not suitable for printing plate.
A-SPEC coating has its film thickness about 10nm (0.00001mm) and this thickness/width has less effect for your printing result.
About Botanical Cleansing Liquid
Q. What kind of cleansing liquid E-clean is?

A. It is 100% plant-based latest cleansing liquid that Tokushu Abe Seihanjo, who is dealing with environmental problems, recommend with confidence. No toxic material for human and environment included and it is good for VOC emission control.
Water solubility and it is biological breakdown if you drain it. Also it is recyclable by regenerative distillation. It can be use with heat and raise detergency.
Low volatility and less odor development enhance better work environment.
